#FLASHLOL - Twitter is preventing screenshots of its new policy from within the app lol. So... just screenshot it from here instead.

@th3j35t3r After reading it, it appears that, despite using the same handle for decades, I can't use it elsewhere if I use it on #Twitter?
I dunno, it's feeling a lot like a publisher and very much less like a platform. *third rail* 🤷🏻♀️
@Cosmichomicide @th3j35t3r You can use the handle, just not post in on Twitter.
@danidl @th3j35t3r It explicitly says handle without URL, tho. The handle is mine. Only the handle plus a URL is a reference.
But the well thought out policy has already been removed along with his tweet saying he was a traditional publisher. 🤭
But thanks for the 'splaining. I sure missed that from Twitter. Not.
@danidl @th3j35t3r Yeah, but not what it says. It reads exactly like a policy put together by the boss and endorsed by their programmers and engineers. No legal or compliance required 'cause someone on the internet will explain what it really means.
I posted the "policy". It literally (used correctly) does not say what you are interpreting it to say.
Now, if we are just gonna go with it's the "club rules" invented by the guy who owns the treehouse, all good.
