@danidl @th3j35t3r It explicitly says handle without URL, tho. The handle is mine. Only the handle plus a URL is a reference.
But the well thought out policy has already been removed along with his tweet saying he was a traditional publisher. 🤭

@Cosmichomicide @th3j35t3r Sorry if you didn't like my reply. I was just saying that you can use your handle elsewhere, but you're not allowed to post in on Twitter, either as a link or as just an information. I wasn't saying that I agreed with Twitter's policy.
@danidl @th3j35t3r Yeah, but not what it says. It reads exactly like a policy put together by the boss and endorsed by their programmers and engineers. No legal or compliance required 'cause someone on the internet will explain what it really means.
I posted the "policy". It literally (used correctly) does not say what you are interpreting it to say.
Now, if we are just gonna go with it's the "club rules" invented by the guy who owns the treehouse, all good.

Looks like you can use it on other platforms, you just cant mention the platform name (or link).
So relies on people using common sense to search the other platforms for your user ID.

@DoxyMus1c @th3j35t3r It really sort of boils down to this is the kind of "policy" that sounds smart when you are getting stoned in the office with the 12 remaining engineers before they crawl into their sleep pods.
Any halfwit with 15 minutes of policy background would say "What about official government entities who link to all their emergency communication outlets?"
But, the halfwits are all sleep deprived and the policy people are all gone.
