My paranoid brother in law, who is very much an example of how blaming others for your environment can grow into criminal thinking, will be catching me in the middle of a journaling project titled "How to be Happier" focusing on nurturing an internal locus of control (the polar opposite), and I will be working the project into conversation, fingers crossed he might listen, if even just a little, and I can press him about it next time I see him.
@tippitiwichet this is deviously, graciously clever. I totally approve and wish you success in introducing these ideas.
@Coffee_and_Salt Thank you, I'm loving the chance to give this whole propaganda journal a mini test run :D
@tippitiwichet keep us posted. Really, very clever approach.
@Coffee_and_Salt Just in case I'm still transcribing it, not decorating it like I hope when he gets here, I put it on my blog so I can send him a link.

@tippitiwichet thanks for that link! A very well written piece. and the design is inviting. you've got your bases covered for sure.
@Coffee_and_Salt Once upon a time I wondered to a friend what might happen to my psyche if I started meditating in my carnivorous garden, full of frilly and beautiful traps, and I have my answer, lol.
@tippitiwichet wise of you to have utilized the knowledge that traps are also used to rescue.
@tippitiwichet it's totally manipulative and it's healthy to see that part too. but the goal here is positive information being shared with someone who might not otherwise be willing to hear it.
if you were pitching religion or something judgement based that would be a bummer. but this is about simply finding a way to be happier. you get a pass.
