Thank for the mention of paxlovid. Rang my surgery to see if I'm eligible. I'm on fire, paracetamol is not making a dent. Dr is calling me back.
@Clavius_42 Wtf? Those are amongst the ones who are at higher risk of severe cases!
@Clavius_42 The doctor told you this? I know there are possible serious drug interactions, as well as issues for people with liver and kidney disease, but if that isn't the case, it doesn't seem to make sense.

@LiseL He pretty much suggested I get back in touch if I feel much worse; take Ibuprofen and Paracetamol, stay hydrated.😐
At least he didn't suggest I binge watch something I'm too foggy to enjoy - which I'm learning is the COVID equivalent of sending thoughts and prayers... 💭 🙏
If I do feel worse, he'll bloody-well know about it. 😷
@Clavius_42 It's all so frustrating. I wonder if there's a bit of 'Covid fatigue' among some medical professionals? Anyway, I wouldn't hesitate to call back if you feel like it's really bad or anything just feels wrong. I hope you're feeling better soon.
Thanks to our UK Government 'medical experts' people with autoimmune diseases aren't eligible for anti-virals.
