I think the world could be a more peaceful and more beautiful place if we all didn't have some rigid expectations that everyone else needs to hone the same characteristics or abilities, whether innately born with or environmentally grown, that allowed us the ability to overcome the challenges we have endured. We are all on a journey, each with mountains to climb and depths to plummet, course corrections to make. Not everyone will have the same strengths. Please show kindness and compassion.
Positive thoughts create positive energy, which in turn produce positive results. Anytime you start to question your own abilities, shut that shit down. The negative energy we each carry within us can be controlled by knowing which thoughts in our head do more harm than good. If a voice in your head is telling you to stay within your comfort zone because you are not good enough.. tell it to fuck off! Replace it with some good vibes that make you smile, preen, strut, and love yourself. ~ Chippy
In these times of constant negative news stories and nail-biting stress, I just want to say: You each bring gifts of intelligence, wisdom, bravery, hope, witticisms, friendship, encouragement, strength, guidance, shared interests, and contemplation.
If ever there is a day, or night, when you question your worthiness, your value, your contribution to society, your sense of self, remember this - you matter to me. You do. Thank you for being a part of my daily life. (◕‿◕✿) https://counter.social/media/kLxd9N7-aTeeUpl2UIQ
Sometimes you have to look at your life from a different perspective to fully appreciate all you have. Blessings are everywhere. Notice them, embrace them, and feel the love.

Hello CoSo.. Do you even realize the collective bright spot you all bring to so many gloomy days? I suspect there are some here who would find it incredibly difficult to get through the hard days, the lonely days, the sad days, the long days without the support, kindness, and joy shared within this space. Know that each one of you are special and worthy, just because you are. And each one of you contribute, just by being, to the immense contentment found here. 💜

I am positive you could each add more words to describe your experiences here.
For me, it is a beloved island of sanity, bliss, and acceptance.
I am thankful to @th3j35t3r for creating this place and for all of you who inhabit this space.
May we have many more years of love and friendship.
Happy 7th Anniversary!
The other day I was imagining a sequence of events in my head (also known as daydreaming) and from inside my brain, behind my right ear a completely different voice called out, "Popcorn!"
No, I didn't want any popcorn. But it made me giggle a little that apparently my daydream was so good that someone wanted to watch it with snacks.
Racism and misogyny is strong in every race, every culture.
In 2016 many people voted for a man without doing their homework. This time they have no excuse. They knew what they were getting and they voted for it anyway. These next years will be dark.
There will be no grace of forgiveness from me. May a higher power have mercy, if its felt justified.
Instead I am keeping my love and hope alive for my children. It's all I have left and I am going to be extremely protective of my energy.
You'll see the world's still turning
if you just zoom out.

As we enter the week of election anxiety here in the US (and for many people around the world) please remember to be kind to yourself. If necessary, shut off the news even as results are being aired. You have voted, knocked on doors, made cold calls and texts, donated time and money. There is nothing else you can do to alter the results.
The election results won't change who you are. But you can take care of you.
Know that you, who you are, matters to so very many. Thank you for being you.
It's an interesting divergence to watch..
Republicans who had no problem with Reagan creating and popularizing the demeaning trope of the welfare queen now needing to decide if Trump and his legions have carried Trump's own brands of dehumanization too far.
At what point it is too much? And why wasn't it too much at the beginning of Reagan's malicious callousness?
What's so funny 'bout peace, love, and understanding?
