Agent of chaos tip for the day.
Teach small children to make paper boats. Get some birthday cake candles from somewhere. Find a ditch or large puddle. Place birthday candles in front of boats and let naval battles commence. Keep sticks handy to direct operations and remove destroyed destroyers.
@Klaatu_Veratta_Nectarine it's jsut really cool. So, storytime: one day my mom came home. She parked the car, and walked round the corner of the house just as my toy tank "hit a mine" (actually a tiny pie plate filled with black powder, buried in the garden and set off via a wick made of paper towel). The tank flew about 4 feet in the air. My mom said "inside" to my dad. He said "what, he has safety goggles and ear plugs".

My son called last week to tell me he was showing his son. It was cute, he was like Mom! Remember when we used to... I was like yup. (Wife yelled at him. I guess she's okay with it now. She says i teach kids to be adhd. Chaos. )
