Nope, but certainly voted in a booth with curtains. Remember when some dude (in the late 60s or early 70s) lit up a joint inside a voting booth because the sanctity of voting ensured the cops couldn’t intrude to arrest him?
At the time it was an incredible & daring act of defiance.

Oh yes! I look forward to it. I get semi- dressed up. Then when I get there, I get sentimental watching all the people administer the polling & the people coming to vote …& I cry. Like, EVERY time.
I wish it was a national holiday with welcomers & greeters, hotdog stands, sidewalk bands, kid parades, lapel pins, crazy hats, upbeat patriotic music. Everything!
