When the fbi does a raid they know the minimal evidence they're looking for to convict a suspect.

@Lindy @Bliss the DOJ has a nearly 100% conviction rate. When they raid. They already have evidence of a crime and just getting more evidence to make the case stronger by having a paper trail

@Bliss @ACG2 He seems to be finally realizing that these people are waging war on our democracy. His responses have been weak and slow but better late than never.

@danielbsmith @Bliss My hope is 'finally realizing' = Action to stop it and push it backwards. GA election commission officials trying to change the ability of people to vote is particularly troubling. #politics

@ACG2 @Bliss Yes. Here's hoping. The corruption in Georgia is particularly bad. I'm hoping the citizens of that state see the last election as a turning point. They have the power to take the state! They need to reach out and take it from the white supremacists.

Unfortunately the scotus decision is clear, anything done, even in the outer perimeter of his role as president, is covered by presidential immunity. However if he did anything that violates the constitution it might be considered criminal, provided DoJ does not use his records (notes, emails, phone recordings) or conversations with staff as evidence.

@Bliss Understood. Are there not record-keeping requirements that may help to define official conduct?
