In a recent clip, trump admitted having regular private conversations with putin. Conversations that were never recorded and where administrative/government staff were not present.
This FBI raid was conducted while this trump advisor is living in Russia. Imagine, another russian friend and advisor to trump is living in russia.

When the fbi does a raid they know the minimal evidence they're looking for to convict a suspect.

@danielbsmith @Bliss My hope is 'finally realizing' = Action to stop it and push it backwards. GA election commission officials trying to change the ability of people to vote is particularly troubling. #politics
Unfortunately the scotus decision is clear, anything done, even in the outer perimeter of his role as president, is covered by presidential immunity. However if he did anything that violates the constitution it might be considered criminal, provided DoJ does not use his records (notes, emails, phone recordings) or conversations with staff as evidence.
@Bliss Understood. Are there not record-keeping requirements that may help to define official conduct?
