I love people who love music, but I don’t have time for the people who think their taste in music is the “correct” one. How unaware of the scale of the world do you have to be to think that such a thing is possible? Kind of laughable. Same concept goes for just about any interest honestly. #cosomusic #coso
@BrazenlyLiberal it is mind-boggling. I have come across many people like this. An ostrich-like sense of superiority.
I'm with you.
I've run into people like that regarding music, coffee, dog breeds, cars -- if you can buy it, someone thinks they can buy it better. And if you get it without buying it, they have their noses so far up in the air they could drown in a heavy rain.
I had an ex like that: what that person liked was "good" music and everything else was "bad" music.
Note that the emphasis here is on "EX"....
@BenA seems like you made the right choice. It’s got to be a red flag for other emotional issues.
@BipolarArtist
The thing about having the "correct" taste in music is nobody can prove them wrong. They get to be all sniffy and superior with no real qualifications. And they get to sneer at others the way (I suspect) they were sneered at.
