actually, nothing from the past, but I have watched Peaky Blinders through three times and Lucifer twice. I’m also on my second to go at SWAT. And I must have gone through criminal minds at least four times.
I would like to put Star Trek on in the background if I could, it would be very nostalgic and comforting. My dad was a Trekky (sp?) @duglop
@Armchaircouch close enough... Trekkie
But I need to add the following that I just saw online... “The term “Trekker” is preferred by some 'Star Trek' fans, as the term “Trekkie” is perceived to be a derogatory (or a diminutive one at best when used by non-fan family members) term, especially by the non-fan society at large, who consider Trekkies as being obsessive in their fandom.Aug 2, 2022..
And I don't watch today's television programs myself 😆
oh, brother! 20 years ago did people care Trekkies were Trekkies?
I wonder because I asked my daughter, and my niece, both in their 20s, what they think about the pronunciation of gif, is it a hard G or not, and my daughter said it’s a useless argument that sprung up online and a lot of people actually don’t care. In other words, it’s a waste of time to even think about, it’s among the useless internet gripes
I wonder if the current trekkie feelings are also a newer internet gripe? @duglop
