I love Jordan Peele ❤️ but I also love Julia Ducournu and I voted for Julia because women are more under represented as directors than POC (POC 14%, women 11%) … if I could have voted a tie I would have 🥰
@heatherdale I couldn't pick between Peele, Ducournu and Aster... lucky for me, I don't have to, bc I can't vote on my own poll! 😉
She's definitely not winning this poll, but seeing Ducournau here reminds me I have yet to watch Titane.
@tyghebright Well… there’s still a couple of days left in the poll so you never know.
And there’s a good chance we will revisit her in the near future, because after watching Titane a few weeks ago, I decided I need to watch RAW again.
I hope the "losers" on this poll will actually all be present in the next one, because I would really like to see a number of these.

@Jezibaba @FernLovebond @etakeh It’s kind of fun to experiment with the polls… next week I might go with a different theme, but as busy as things are for me the next 6+ weeks, I might soon try a poll with things that came in 2nd place in previous double-feature polls. Eventually I’d like to go back to triple+ features. We shall see… and as always, suggestions are being collected/considered. 👍

I actually saw the trailer for #NOPE yesterday bc it played before #JurrasicWorld Dominion (I don’t usually watch trailers) and if y’all are excited for it, I can sure as hell see why.
