Now I'm binging a Scottish show.

Every time I switch, my brain has to spend the first 5 minutes changing gears with the accents and slang.

And when I actually hit up an American show I can, as an American, hear the various American accents much more clearly. It's odd when your own accent, even momentarily, sounds "foreign".
