I have sad news, though. One of the main reasons I have not been around much is b/c my mom's cancer became more of an issue this year, esp. at summer's end. Last Saturday night I was by her side as she slipped quietly away. 😔

So I probably won't stay long tonight (as her service is tomorrow) but I'm hoping to start visiting more often.

I'm so sorry about your Mom, that's a hard loss to have in your life.
I lost my Mom to cancer too.
