Many thanks (hugs to all). It is a sadness words do not adequately describe, for sure. Luckily she passed along some of her strength to me, as I'm finding out.

So I probably won't stay long tonight (as her service is tomorrow) but I'm hoping to start visiting more often.

I have sad news, though. One of the main reasons I have not been around much is b/c my mom's cancer became more of an issue this year, esp. at summer's end. Last Saturday night I was by her side as she slipped quietly away. 😔
