We have a queer interracial couple in our home. We also have an interracial couple that appears straight to the average passerby. We have three autistic people. We have four disabled people. One elderly person.

Our family has a lot riding on who is and isn't in office after tonight. I need to take a step back from the screen because I'm starting to worry our "allies" will just give up because not every election went like we wanted.

From different things I'm hearing and seeing, it seems how things are looking right now depends on where you're getting your news from. That's a good reminder that not everything is counted and a lot of professional guessing is happening in journalism tonight. Don't give up or celebrate too early. Maybe go read a book. Watch Disneynature's "Bears". Post pet pics.

Really working on that whole "I can't change the world by worrying about it, except for how that will change the world by shortening my lifespan" thing. That's harder some days than others. I think I'm just worrying about worrying now.

I'm going to go write a little more for and then go to sleep. If I come back in the next two hours, somebody please tell me to go to bed.

Let me speak to y'all about defeatism. Yes it is a thing. In fact even the best of us fall into it, when we doom scroll/doom search/doom post. Let's step back take the Ws when we get them. Being realistic is one thing, but turning Ws into Ls is another.

Most auto part stores in the US will test your battery or scan a check engine light and give you a printout for free.

We're heading for winter in the northern hemisphere and it's no fun to be stuck with a dead battery. Get it tested. Average lifespan for a car battery is around 5 years.

A check engine light doesn't mean your car is gonna blow up.

A flashing check engine light means you might be doing damage to the engine/transmission.

Took a break tonight and just let shapes and colors spill out on paper. Set things up for art to do tomorrow. I've been working on ways to include ink and paint into my occult practices.

- I'm seeing people defend as not being capable of understanding the effects of what he says because he's autistic, use "autistic" as an insult against him, and his fanboys using harmful autistic stereotypes as his superpowers.

I am thankful for the traits being autistic gives me. I'm also really tired of being autistic in this society.

Oh... I see I've hit the point in where my brain starts trying to create a second story that cannot just be worked into the first story.

A little bit of text on where I think is going.

It’s not a pretty sight.

Please remember not everyone CAN vote. And, historically, people who can't fight really hard rather than just accept it. It's important that everyone who can vote do so. Just don't forget there is still more privilege than there should be in that.

I’m fascinated by Charmin ads. They constantly push the envelope when it comes to discussing shitting in this quasi-puritanical society we live in.

- The first page of a new sketchbook is always intimidating for me, but I did get some art time in! Working on some intuitive art methods to just let things pour out of me without worrying about how it will be when finished.
