@Rickbflony My friend George, who is a ferret, says you're missing an option. However, the household cats told him to "sshhh!" The dogs were distracted and voiced no opinions.

@Darthbonn It kind of hangs in the air for a second and then drifts down, so I guess it is like frost.

I'll never forget having it explained to me that "snot-freezing cold" could be literal. The next winter, I knew what was happening when my nostrils went stiff.

@amarand I saw the BirdBuddy thing and am thinking about getting one next year! I have a birdfeeder out for the feathered friends who come into my yard and they're pretty comfortable with me being around, but the photos would be awesome!

@Darthbonn I spent several winters in the Midwest, farther north than some parts of Canada. I promise you, steam can freeze.

@Coffee_and_Salt I eventually convinced myself it was the exact opposite. I'm so important even he can't afford to block me!

@thedisasterautist I remember seeing that and it confirmed for me that he has PTSD. Everything he had been through would make it likely, and I know that "always angry" secret.

@Coffee_and_Salt Good luck! I might do the same, except I once told our previous Oval Office occupant how to go pleasure himself and he didn't block me.

That was a hit to my self esteem. How insignificant do you have to be for HIM not to block you for that???

Of course, asking me, "What are you doing?" would just get the answer, "Setting a noble example of minding my own business."

But then they might start watching!

Most of the year, I wish people would pay attention to what's happening in their immediate surroundings.

This time of year, I greatly appreciate being able to sit right next to someone and work on making their gift while they have no clue what I'm doing and no desire to ask questions.

@lifeinthePNW I once had to go to the ER for a super glue related injury. Gorilla Glue is my friend because it gives me time to correct my mistakes before they set too firmly. 😄

@phase I'm a native of Southeast Texas who is sensitive to spicy food. NOT the area to grow up in if you can't handle some heat in your mouth! Puerto Rican food I've eaten has been very little heat and lots of flavor. An absolute blessing!

@phase I haven't had chicken and dumplings for years. I'm going to have to teach my husband's family some things about food.

To be fair, he's Puerto Rican...they've taught me things about food.

I needed to get away from stress and self doubt for a while...so I wrote my #divination post for this week about stress and self doubt.

Really, it's about why movie character psychics aren't really what "psychic ability" is, why scientific explanations aren't always disproving things and you can trust science, and divination isn't as big a mystery as some people think.
