Happy MLK Day! Can we please get away from banal quotes and focus on how Dr. King was a socialist ? That would be an awesome celebration

@publickovacs A quibble: none of his quotes are banal. The ones we so enjoy show his love for America. The ones omitted show his painful awareness that America was not, is not perfect.

The ideas behind the quotes are not banal but revolutionary. Because some of the quotes have been used ad nauseam and often by conservatives who care nothing for the message of the whole body of work (children may be judged by content of character and not color of skin, etc), though, they have been rendered banal.
