@walterbays Chicha isn't liquor, it's just a sweet drink made of corn, you may be thinking of Pisco? That's brandy though.
It's funny we live about ten blocks from the Larco museum/restaurant and have never been there, will have to rectify that soon.
@Charles_Hawtrey So you're in Miraflores? What a beautiful area! And yes you must visit Larco, one of the best museums in the world. And for every artifact on display they seem to have 20 others in storage as you can see because the public can view the storage shelves. The curators must have a herculean job deciding what items to bring out for display. Informative placards are in Spanish and English.
@Charles_Hawtrey Oh, I see that's more in the middle of all the shops, restaurants, attractions, and transit. Rather than perched on the edge of the cliff.
@walterbays Lima is huge, in light traffic it takes about twenty minutes for us to get to Miraflores. Pueblo Libre is one of the older sections, it's not touristy here, there are districts that take 40 minutes or more to get to in light traffic.
