If you see something, say something.

By 'say something', I mean use the report button so appropriate action can be taken in response to hateful and/or inappropriate content.

We often say 'use the tools' here, and that's generally good advice. But if somebody's posts are attacking a person or group, blocking only helps you. Reporting them potentially helps the community, because there is only one moderator here and he can't watch the timelines 24/7.

^ Also, be aware that if you see this kind of content and engage with the person before you report the post, you may find yourself blocked and unable to see the post you were about to report. I have fallen into this trap more than once recently.

@voltronic I only report trolls here and otherwise don't report because I believe. 1) people with opposing views should know there is an opposing view. 2) people under attack should see there are people who will speak up.otherwise they report constantly while feeling noone cares or everyone agrees with messages being sent. 3) if noone speaks then other group thinks they speak for the party.
