Ah okay. So more like the Roku Ultra I have in my living room as opposed to the streaming stick in my bedroom. I believe the Ultra has supported AV1 for a while.

I have both CCGTVs and Roku 4K sticks on my TVs...and want this google settop box to be the answer to all my needs... 🤞

it's a settop box, not a dongle, so it can actually have processing power and storage capacity...rumours are it'll have a wired ethernet port in it...and it'll support AV1 codec (which most folks don't care about, but is a big deal for folks with home media servers)
I love the UI and functionality of the CCGTV...it's just woefully underpowered...
