I should have added a caveat: if you *don't seal* your grout, you won't care in a couple years because it will become stained a different color.

Yeah I did not do that when the house was built and now things are all different colors depending on the foot traffic. Not renovating anytime soon though, and next time I'll just pick a slightly darker color to start with and seal the lines.
