Hold on there! That doesn't fit the narrative that Israel is blocking all aid into Gaza!
What are the chances that Iran is at least partially behind these attacks on the US landing site? Maybe they were getting frustrated with the Houthis being an ineffective proxy. Although this seems like an even worse idea.
Whether it's from Hamas on their own or at the direction of Iran, I'm sure they're betting US forces won't fire back because of the optics. I would not take that bet.
@Render
I wasn't aware of that. I thought Iran was still a major weapons supplier to Hamas, and also Hezbollah.
Ties were broken in 2012 and resumed in 2014. It was a short divorce.
Iran is still the major source of arms to Hamas, HezbAllah, and the Houthi's.
@Render
Oh ok. I wasn't as misinformed as I thought then.
@voltronic
Iran doesn't have as much control of Hamas or the other terror groups operating inside the Gaza Strip as they think they do, or would like to have.
Less than a decade ago Iran and al-Qaeda both broke ties with Hamas over Syria.
