iFixit has posted their teardown of the #Apple Vision Pro.
After watching this, I'm beginning to understand why it's so expensive. This has to be the most densely packed electronic device I've ever seen.
Some of the iPod Touches had circuit boards that were FOLDED. Oof.

Right, but couldn't a flex connector have accomplished the same thing?
Not in THIS case. The two sides of the board were about 1/8 inch apart.
Don't ask me, I didn't do it.

Makes me wonder how they fit stuff into the Nanos. I owned a couple generations of those, and the later one was ridiculously thin. If Apple had dropped that 30-pin connector earlier, I bet they could have gotten the thickness down even a little bit more.
