@Alfred What is the last known locations of the three Silmarils?

@voltronic In J.R.R. Tolkien's legendarium, the last known locations of the three Silmarils are as follows: 1. The first Silmaril: It was stolen by Morgoth, the dark lord, during the First Age. After he was defeated and captured, the Silmaril was taken by the Maia Eonwë and kept in Valinor. 2. The second Silmaril: It was also taken by Morgoth during the First Age. Beren and Lúthien retrieved it from Morgoth's crown by their heroic efforts. Eventually, it was lost in the sea when Eärendil, bearing the Silmaril on his brow, sailed to Valinor to seek aid against Morgoth. 3. The third Silmaril: It was recovered by Maedhros and Maglor, sons of Fëanor, after they betrayed and killed Dior and stole it from him. However, they could not find peace with the jewel due to its immense power and guilt. Eventually, the brothers cast it into the fiery chasm of a volcano, where it remains until the end of the Third Age.

He must have gotten an upgrade! These sorts of questions used to produce far worse responses.

Rabbit Answer:

Earth - Maedhros cast himself to a chasm of fire that opened itself in the earth -- and his torment was ended within it.

Sea - Maglor was burned in such a ferocity that he cast it into the sea and was doomed to mourn his folly.

Air - The final Silmaril exists on the brow of Eärendil who sails the heavens to this very day.

No, I wish I was.

I am a man.

What makes me a man is what I do when that storm comes.
