True, but most people are. Just like most people are poorly informed about the serious risks of participating in those places (or they just don't care).
I've largely abandoned attempting to make significant numbers of people give up doing stupid stuff, it's pretty futile.
A surprising — to me, anyway — number of people seem to prefer continuing to be wrong over admitting they are.
@voltronic Yes, these scams rake in billions - so as much as 0.01% of what corporations and corrupt governments suck outta us all the time. It's that bad.

I note in passing that the bulk of these hinge on your being on Farcebork or something equivalent.
