Migrating from one 2FA app to another really should be simpler.

For anyone who hasn't had the pleasure, it goes like this:

Log into an account.
Use old app to remove 2FA.
Delete account from old app.
Add 2FA to account using new app.

Repeat the above steps for every other account you have.

The only thing saving me a little time is that I have some accounts that still only do 2FA via SMS or email, which is bad. The fact that some of those are banks and credit cards is extra bad. 🤨

@voltronic which services are you migrating? I went from Google to Authy, because of the backup system. Plus being able to lock out new devices from setting up authy is nice.

I'm moving from Authy to Aegis, because of these reasons.

So far, I really do prefer Aegis because as soon as I unlock it, all my accounts and codes are right there to view without clicking on anything further.
