@voltronic They get away with things like that because we have allowed so much leeway with probable cause.
The 4th requires that warrants issued upon probable cause must be made on a sworn affidavit and must describe the person, place and or things to be seized.
Probably 70 percent of warrants services these days would not stand that constitutional test.
