I just assume if it’s being transmitted by anything other than personally-encoded HAM radio, someone somewhere will be able to look at it unencrypted. :P

I mean… most people are using proprietary devices (phones, Mac/windows pc’s) and don’t know what software is on the OS’s, so anything that is typed on a phone might well be being recorded and reported via “~telemetry~” and whatever.

Until we make strong laws and enforce them strictly and stridently… nothing is private. Nothing.

Unless you are using Tails and are also somehow magically ensuring the exit nodes aren’t plants or being spied on, I guess.
