Remember every other tragedy
Boston Bombing, 9/11, Baby Jessica, Indonesian Tsunami, Charlie Hebdo, Haitian Earthquake, Nice truck attack, Hurricanes, tornadoes, I could go on. We set aside our differences, came together for inspiration, solace, hope
Is #COVID19 so different? The #coronavirus has the capacity to destroy us not with a bang but a whimper

We need our Captains 💙
@Minholkin Yes we do.. it really shouldn't be so hard to find them, they should have already stood up and ran with that ball... but for some reason, they aren't
I think it is immensely difficult to set aside fury that has been stoked over years.
I believe ultimately we will unite in the face of this because I suspect our survival will require it.
@Minholkin we've set it aside before for less, and rallied behind common causes. Take the fury out of the equation. release it. What is left is the desire for purpose, and that is where we need to be
I don't disagree. I think for many it is hard to let go when there continues to be provocation. It is really really hard to rise above or dig deep when there is so much activation. The need for this is greater, but the task is harder than ever.
@Minholkin I'm an optimist and realist. that's a really screwed up position to be in. I have hope when I know it may not come for reasons beyond my control. I have faith when I know so many do not for reasons that are their own. I have belief that mankind has the capacity to change it's course when I'm fully aware that people fear change. So I smile and nod, and do my thing. If I reach just one person, that one more person that may understand that optimism and realism can coexist.

Well said as usual, LS.
I hope this message gets through to the people in power. So far, I'm not seeing it. We need to keep applying pressure.
