^^correction: I enable Bluetooth so my phone connects to my car to use gps and steering wheel controls to answer phone, listen to and reply to text messages and play music from my playlists.

Just turn out off when you're done using it in your car. That's what I do. It's very unlikely someone is going to hack you in your car, unless you are a really high-value target. Or in a movie.

So, the only time I use it is to enable using gps when in my car. This makes me vulnerable to hacking if I understand this article, right?
