I know that sick feeling of worrying it will all go horribly wrong. I had it earlier this year before Aus's federal election. I was extremely relieved by our election result, though slightly disappointed we didn't go further left (we rejected Armageddon but also rejected progress).

I voted today for the people who will most likely enact the things I think are important. I don't love them, or even trust them to do what I think is important.

The only politician I ever loved was my mom, and I disagreed with her on some things.
