While prepping my tomato bed I found these bird's nest fungi, I am unreasonably excited. I have always wanted to see these. Now, if some morels could pop up next to the apples, that'd be perfect haha.

Been takin' pictures of seeds that are going in my garden this year. These are Dragon tongue bean and Painted Mountain corn.

Fun fact: I not only forgot I planted muscari, I assumed I had not planted muscari. Was getting envious of my neighbors' blooms and wishing I'd bought some when...this.

(The tall things are garlic, planted in the same holes to keep squirrels from unplanting my bulbs. It works.)

Today I learned how to make saltines at home from scratch.

I also learned that it takes all of ten minutes, works with any kind of flour, and the results taste far better than any box cracker I have ever had.

Good job, predatory inflation. You convinced me to stop buying crackers.
