Because I had a two-hour conversation with an EPA emissions researcher yesterday who was unaware this is common knowledge, here is some knowledge that should be more common:

Tesla's primary business is not selling cars. Tesla's primary business is selling carbon credits. Every EV Tesla makes is subsidized by an emissions-dumping vehicle made by another manufacturer.

(EPA knows this but my contact there assumed it wasn't a publicly available fact. It's in Tesla's SEC filings.)
