Neurosurgeon clarified lump is NOT a nerve sheath tumor. He said this is between my fat & muscle. Nerves are deep under the fat &muscle.
Also clarified 2018 mri - the T1/T2 hyperintense lesion near sacral 2 vertebra, probable harmless hemangioma is NOT related bc the lesion is INSIDE the sacral bone, not outside the bone.
So probable lipoma that is causing spasms &aggravating my nerve. But have meds.
So I'm cleared to see general surgery today at 3pm. I'll keep you posted π

Update:
I am feeling pain now from this tumor. Not the lump itself but surrounding muscle spasms & it's making my nerve (the BAD one) worse. I just went back In flexeril and gabapentin.
Intake appointment at brain/spine surgery place Monday morning.
I'm still positive about this being benign.
I missed my mindful session last night. Too exhausted. But I must practice tonight. It's has help a LOT to keep me from freaking out or massive anxiety.
