Florida peeps. Please evacuate if near this storm. I'm not screaming in all caps because this is the less triggered mindful me. But when emergency people say, you must evacuate or you will die, believe them.
My heart goes out to everyone. For both of these storms.
@Sr0bi they called for evacuations yesterday, today is the last full day to get out. If the surge comes in close to prediction, much is going to be wiped off the map.
I saw a lady post. She's 20 miles east of Sarasota and she's not leaving.
I hope that people at least filled up their tanks in advance. Otherwise they could be on the road a while with many stations running low.
@Sr0bi I don't think desantis is telling anyone to stay and hunker. I haven't heard everythings he's said because he useless at this point.
I'm glad to hear nearly all the shelters in the Sarasota accepts pets. << sometimes that keeps ppl home.

If evacuation is called for and DeSantis is doing anything to delay it, he will get people killed.
Everyone can't get out at the same time.
