Good morning! Oh my goodness 😍 I'm going to have a huge batch of peonies this year!

I think I have a crush on this man lol

Look at that attitude, this the mindfulness way 🩵

@ucantstop_me I don't. He's the CEO of a parasitic corporation.

@AskTheDevil that company just saved my ass in retirement. Else I would be out of money in 5 years.

@AskTheDevil yes. It's a 3rd of my funds. Now I'll have 10 x the stock at 150 or so and it will keep going as all the new data centers are built out.

And I too practice minfulness, it's incredible what you can see and solve when you are not judgemental.

I got laid off at 61. I was a network engineer, network architech, and working manager my entire career.

I decided not to keep working in part bc It would take too long to learn AI stuff. But now I can profit from it through stocks.

@ucantstop_me The fact that you can benefit from the stocks does not make the company or the CEO good, or the way they do business not be harmful to consumers and to innovation.

I'm glad you are allowed to retire safely, but what's good for you and the other shareholders is not the same as the corporation being a positive influence on industry or society.

@ucantstop_me Being mindful means to do things consciously and purposely.

Your mindful choice to benefit from stocks is mindful in that it helps you personally, but it doesn't mean _I_ am not being mindful when I note the company, and it's leadership, do things that have a negative impact on everyone else.

I could argue that it's not very mindful to think something that's good for you but harmful to others can exist without consequence. Being mindful means being aware of consequences.
