@blackknight95857669 It got easier but it's still not easy... plus, being an adult and having to afford most of it yourself tends to make you more selective, lol.
Found this cool tool that will tell you roughly how long it would take for a hacker to brute-force any given string of text when used as a password. Given the recent Twitter leaks, can't ever be too safe. π€
@blackknight95857669 Man, I got burned so many times that way. Then I found stuff like Smash 64 and the opposite happened, thankfully.
G'mornin' #cosofam. Hope everyone has (or had, across the pond) an enjoyable day.
@blackknight95857669 That's a better way to go about it. I'm still in the gut feeling phase, ha.
@blackknight95857669 Oh yeah, I'll have things on there forever because I'll haggle with the sales. "35%? Nah, I need at least 50 for that one." Then eight sales go by and it's still maxing at 35%. Then I'll randomly decide it's worth it and buy it. π
@blackknight95857669 That's always how it goes. π "This game hardly ever goes on sale, though... better make it $20 over."
@blackknight95857669 I got some Steam gift cards for the holidays, and it's like playing Tetris trying to decide the games to fill up the exact amount of funds. Hooray for the deals, though!
@FernLovebond Thanks for the insight. I'd seen a few do that prior to this, but it seemed to be happening consistently. Guess we were just getting unlucky? π
#help Is anyone else noticing that YouTube link thumbnails are often failing to load? Easy to see in the cosomusic tag. Seems to have started about an hour-ish ago. Tried clicking the links & refreshing, and nothing.
Hopefully it's only on my end, but just in case...
@Ashleyy Welcome aboard! I think you'll find that this is a nice place full of a lot of people from different places, so it's not hard to find a spot to fit in. Don't be afraid to strike up conversation!
@th3j35t3r Still trying to figure out who "harvests" shit...
A little "proto-punk" for the evening. One of my favorites.
"keep on knocking" β death
@Blue_Skyesr_here Yeah, there's been an invasion of bots on Tumblr the past few weeks. Don't know any way to filter them out other than blocking them manually.
I'm guessing they find people through the notes in posts, so even checking the privacy option to keep your blog out of search results probably wouldn't stop it *completely*. Tumblr says they're working on it, but who knows.
