In Mexico, papel picado are paper cut-outs usually cut with sharp fierritos (small chisels) from as many as fifty layers of colored tissue paper at a time. Many, like these, are made for Día de los Muertos.

I saw the Frank Langella Dracula when I was 12. It both scared me and turned me on. I think it had a profound effect on my sexuality.

As an adult, A Dark Song really scared me. It's an indie occult film.

Other movies I've found scary are:

Lots of others I enjoy but didn't exactly scare me, like Let the Right One In, The Devil's Backbone, The Wailing, Invasion of the Body Snatchers, Cat People, and Spoorloos.

Oh, I looked and apparently it's intended to call attention to Biden calling his supporters garbage...which isn't quite what he said, but whatever.

I really like the Fly by Jing on ice cream. Whole Foods has one that's black sesame with coconut, and it's a stellar combo.

The Momofuku has a bit more funk, which works well on tofu and noodles.

And the Lao Gan Ma is a good all rounder.
