It's not a fucking love story it's 'Traumatized girl runs away from adult men to go to the pool, where she is groomed by another adult, married man' gets kept hidden and used for his pleasure and profit.
@heatherdale Had an American penpal growing up, who didn't want to hear that there was anything wrong wither her - bullied, alone kid - sleeping with the 30-something, married-with-kids English teacher. Who told her that he 'loved her so much he'd kill himself if she left him.' Who proposed to her and talked about their future children - while still married, no divorce on the horizon.
Oh, the "I'll die/kill myself if you leave me" ploy was one of my abusive husband's favorites. They will use your best qualities against you.
