I've said that, as a middle aged white trans guy who usually passes, I'm relatively privileged. And the hardest part of being trans is the number of people in my community who die at their own hands, or attempt it--and the number of who are murdered.
I stepped back from because there was someone every week that we were trying to keep alive, not always successfully.
I haven't seen any numbers this week. Where are you finding that info?
@tyghebright only real time data I could find was global, I've searched everywhere for more accurate numbers, there are a few influencers who are having people comment on the losses. The Trevor project has seen huge spikes and they probably have better numbers since the election results.
