Sometimes I block a person not because I disagree with their position, but because they treat others roughly and with disdain. Their points are being made by others, so no loss there. It's OK to curate your feed, especially since there are so many wonderful people here who treat each other well. Use the tools.
@elbutterfield 👍👍That'd be my primary reason for blocking,simply for being a dick to other Nauts.Might play well on other sites but it stands out like a sore thumb here.

Yes, I rarely block for opinion alone... and in fact, have more diversity of thought among my friends here than on most sites.
I most often block for being rude and unreasonable.
And my block list is small, because Don't Be A Dick really is he guiding principle here.
