I'd love to get into mask making. I made our leather plague doc masks, but I think this kind of mask making would allow me to be more creative.

I bet it would! IDK how you'd weatherproof them, but I bet you could find some kind of spray. Polyurethane would probably be the most flexible.

I made a paper mache mask in 5th grade, it was fun! You can roll paper and bend it to create a framework, then layer flat paper over it. Mine was the most elaborate in the class, maybe the whole school! 😎 😂

Instead of using regular Elmer's, use waterproof carpenter's glue. I do that with my props that use paper clay, and it works really, really well.
