I've recently started doing affirmations. (Done it before, but it's been years.)
One of my affirmations for the past month or so has been, "I am a successful professional writer."
What I *meant* that to be about was my fiction writing. That I'm writing regularly, sending it out, getting published, making $ from it.
Well, this week, I realized I'm already a highly successful pro writer. My corporate job is writing proposals. I am well paid and respected.
Doh. Might need to re-phrase that one.
@tyghebright so would your new affirmation be something like "I will develop a new world with my creative writing "
Definitely something closer to that.
But it's funny how often affirmations work that way.
Even if I haven't been formally saying them, that's been one of mine for ages. And it absolutely manifested.
Reminds me of the time I did a spell for my boyfriend to ask me to move into his house.
A few days later, he offered to sell it to me because he was moving.
Always be careful what you ask for.
