@CanisPundit Sounds legit. You probably shouldn't pass up this once in a lifetime opportunity to have lunch with a genuine Nigerian prince. Make happy noises and he might share his great fortune with you! 😂
I have had some wild and confusing calls from recruiters.
The ones that baffle me most are the ones who get mad at me because they don't have a job I'm interested in.

Few people have any idea what a Proposal Manager does, so I get all kinds of poor matches, even from people who claim they read my resume.
There was one guy who kept calling me, and when I said no to the first job (which was an OK match, but too low salary), he would argue with me about the pay being enough because of all the benefits! And then start reading random jobs from his list that were *completely* wrong
And he got so MAD, he sounded like he'd pop

My faves are the ones who call because I have limited experience with Veeva (6 months) but they are looking for a system administrator with 2 - 3 years experience. My CV is very clear about that. My guess is, aside from their not reading my CV, some have quotas for submissions.
I’ve essentially backwards engineered their scripts and take charge of the conversation right away. That includes getting top of scale dollar amounts as a W2 or Corp2Corp contractor
@CanisPundit @tyghebright @POOetryma Nice. If they want to play games, be a gamer.
@tyghebright @CanisPundit @POOetryma My favorite were the ones who would take the time to call me in person, say they saw my resume and I'd be _perfect_ for the position, and then they'd tell me about the job using a technology that I specifically call out as one that I will never ever consider a job for.
And I'd be like "You're telling me you looked at it, you even took the time to call me on the phone, but you didn't see the thing on top that says 'No'"
