A sign of broken commerce
Kraft Mac & Cheese sales decline when SNAP benifit are recdueced. So they raise prices to offset losses. A double hit for poors because they cant afford to buy mac and cheese.

Seems like a lousy business decision not just from an ethical viewpoint. Surely they could do a massive coupon/savings program for poor folks with kids. Because a lot of the brand value is in nostalgia, from people who grow up eating it.
@tyghebright You think a billion dollar company would notice the trend, and advocate for increased SNAP benefits
but they probably think that if they cannot get 100% of the benefit it isn't worth the time to lobby
