In college, I worked in the campus book store. We often had people come in for textbooks and say things like "I need the book for 101." And when I ask for more info, they'd say, "It's a big blue book."

I so badly wanted to answer, "Oh, the blue books are over there, arranged in size from smallest to largest."

And it was almost always the business majors who would tell me the number of the class, rather than the department and name.
