The waiting is the hardest part.
I've had four interviews with a company, plus a writing test, that happened quickly.
Last one was with my potential boss's boss's boss. Ended with her taking about "when " I start. That was Thursday.
With everything else happening so fast, I thought I'd hear back right away. I know it's only been 2 business days, but I'm still on tenterhooks. Trying not to assume.

Sounds to me like You have been handed off to HR for Processing.
They have forms to fill out with boxes to check and signatures to obtain. Legalities, treaties, contracts, contacts, receipts; all in triplicate.
