Take your time getting to know the place. You can customize which columns you have pinned. (Check the user guide, which is in my profile.)
You can also select "ostrich mode" (edit profile, preferences) to turn off a lot of the extra moving bits, and make things a lot less overwhelming.
This is what my CoSo looks like in the browser.
@tyghebright It's *definitely* a lot, but for me, it's a welcome change! Twitter has gotten stale over the past couple of years.
