I've been looking in at the writing and writer hashtags, and I'm wondering if on CoSo those are really meant for, well, real writers, writers meaning to publish.
I work out my demons, celebrate success or pass along hints, or problem solve with my writing. The product certainly isn't formal, more "informal".
Should I continue with my own hashtags so Cosonauts might look in at what I've written?
And maybe this is not writing, just posting on a website. Perhaps I've just posted.
Not sure.
@waywardflf I'm not a writer, but speaking as someone who's been here since the beginning, I'll say this (that's probably obvious)
In the same way that CoSo isn't a political site, it's not a writing site. Nor is it a music site, an art site, a health site, etc. As you know, we're just *us* & a community. So in that spirit, any hashtags have been created on an ad hoc basis. If they don't cover what you're trying to do, add your own as well to get more exposure. Two birds, one stone. Good luck👍
For example:
I created the hashtags #transgendercoso, #queercoso, and #nonbinary
I'm pretty much the only person who uses them, but I have had others find me through them.
Was watching Greater Boston tonight about there being no PRIDE parade again this year and the existing supervisory committee dissolving. It would appear there were exclusionary overtones to permit only certain PRIDE constituencies.
If you were posting, could a discussion of the above be graced by one of your hashtags?
Absolutely

I actually found this post just now while making a queer/trans tag list to pin. It works!
