What I notice in the past month and they’re all related: after Biden said he’s not running, Kamala’s campaign not only is running smoothly, but there’s a joy we haven’t seen in politics since 2008. The Olympics we watch in Paris was joyful. Most of it was the broadcasting, but the other part is although I still rooted for Team USA, I was rooting for other competitors to be doing their best. I think the world is sick of hatred and just want joy.

After a couple of days:

-Biden is not running for 2nd term.
-Biden endorses Kamala to be President.
-The past 2 days, Kamala’s campaign raised over $100 million+.
-Kamala is the presumptive nominee in 1 day.

All of that plus I initially thought the Dems were screwing Biden, but now, I think Biden did planned this well before the first debate. Frankly, it’s brilliant.

Biden is not running for a 2nd term. Something doesn’t feel right.

Well, this explains why the Democrat mega donors are not donating to the Party this year. Part of it is race, but almost all of it deals with this. brookings.edu/articles/what-wi

I didn’t watch the speech last night but clips of it on another site and 1) I’m not surprised by the speech and his tone, although I was surprised he was out of it and 2) this is not Biden-Trump, the race is between Harris-Vance. If the media, pundits, and politicians say Biden can’t make it in the 2nd term, so can’t Trump. That was a big direct hit to media

So the lesson in America: donors always win. Well, I’m going to need a passport.

With this election hoopla going overdrive, this is what I’m feeling about the elections now. youtu.be/QovvXL8HrQM

Within the last hour, Biden got Covid; and Schumer, Pelosi, and Jeffries are asking Biden to step down. Something tells me this is more coastal elites vs. blue collar. Oh boy, the Dems shot themselves on the foot and now it’s chaos around. Also, now is the time Obama has to speak on this.

If you care about TV ratings, the first 2 days of the RNC convention is down around 5 million on all across the networks. It will be interesting what viewership looks like tonight and tomorrow, but it seems people are tuning out.

It seems the status quo Dems still want Biden out although polls (if reliable) are making it a close race. Now, Adam Schiff wants to jump on the Dump Biden bandwagon. Why would he do that? Apparently he’s in the red in fundraising. He wants that Hollywood money. Oh boy.

There seems to be an uptick for Biden to step aside. That includes Clooney and just now Peter Welch. Clooney is more about protecting his partner, Amal, about Gaza. Welch and others are likely getting paid to say about Biden leaving because he’s cutting corporations profits and why the donor money is not what it is in the 1st 2 quarters. If you want a brokered convention, here’s their chance, but this seems to be a huge backfire if they pull this off.

I remember reading that the Administration scuppered something George Clooney's wife was working on. So no surprise that he's joined the bandwagon. Shut up and make movies, George.

There’s a lot of talk of media pounding us on Biden should leave. Now late night hosts are getting into the act. Jon Stewartand John Oliver has a history of this, but now Colbert, Meyers are joining in. Taken a step back, they’re done with Biden because they can make jokes all day

It’s the next person in for President these late night hosts are worried about because they have to thread a needle of joking about her performance without sounding racist and/or derogatory. Good luck.

A lot of people are getting caught up with the “Biden is done” hype, but they need to get off. The reason they’re complaining is:

1) Biden is old and worried about the succession plan. Remember, you’re voting for an administration, not just one person, which leads to the main issue.

2) Press and some party officials don’t want Kamala as President. It’s obvious why and it’s a damn shame. Time for the Democrats to back the whole administration.

The author of the article is Brian Stelter. That was last week. This is what he did tonight.

Apparently there’s data of the quality of questions from the Washington media and well, it’s expected, but look at the numbers after Obama left office. presidency.ucsb.edu/analyses/b

I’m not watching the debates, but I can summarize this easily from what I read:

-Biden has a hoarse voice and apparently there are demands to change.
-Trump lies and will continue to lie
-CNN don’t want to use the mute button
-People are going to get dumber after this
-You have to think pro wrestling psychology for these debates.

I do t know if I should watch the debate or not. You know what to expect but also it’s going to be blasted online with gaffes on one side and “gaffes” on the other I wish the debate commission could of done it because I don’t know how to feel about CNN moderating the event.

This is a great article about the Washington Post issues theatlantic.com/ideas/archive/

Overview: while Bezos has stayed away and let people do their jobs, he wasn’t present when the company needed him the most. Also, he doesn’t have a board to help oversee the company. It feels like he wanted to be the savior of the Washington Post. It worked the first few years, but it has waned and now it’s in worst shape since Bezos took over.

All this Caitlin Clark stuff from this weekend should be warranted with the hype, the rivalry of Chicago, Angel vs. CC. We’re now talking about a cheap shot, that was flagrant, but apparently it lights up male sports talk shows saying they shouldn’t do this to Caitlin. Hello, the WNBA has been this way through its existence. It’s great to come aboard, but observe and watch before making an opinion.
